1. You mean Superdome, etc., are soon going away? In any case the
ability to
run on a 9000 gives MPE a little more life.
2. How is HP implementing IA-64 for for the 9000. My understanding is
that
there will be a PA-Risc enulation mode. Can't MPE at least run in that
mode?

C'mon, Jeff, not wrong. Why was there such a stink when a vendor sold
9000's as 3000's? As you say below, the H/W is basically the sme.
Today, MPE runs on essentially 9000 h/w. It takes most of our
