Agreed, and this is one of the reasons that the Interex Special Interest
Group for System Managers (SIG/SYSMAN) changed it's charter over the past
year.  I would encourage you and any others interested to subscribe to the
SIGSYSMAN listserver which Interex set up (and perhaps post your question
there).
