Gentlemen,
Is there any way to make sure that a file or database is deleted? We are
shutting down and selling our hp969 and it ran our payroll system for many
years. So it has social security numbers and bank routing numbers on it.
Besides taking each drive out individually and hooking it up to a pc with a
scsi card and running seagates low level format utility, is there another
way in mpe? My one thought was to clear out all our data then restore and
copy a zipcode database until 95% capacity then delete all the copies? I
just don't want a third world country to get one of the drives 5 years from
now and recover social security numbers or bank routing numbers.

Thanks for your thoughts,

Pete
