You're new here aren't you Micheal. :-)
You do realize that its two months before a national election.
This is the 3000-L, most of us have over 25 years experience working on a computer that rarely fails, we reboot only when necessary every couple years. The Maytag repairman is overworked compared to being an HP3000 System Admin/programmer.
We have several discussions that never end...
Politics,
Evolution,
Come to mind.
Most off-topic posts are/should be prefaced with "OT:", and I believe you can opt out of off-topic posts.
Sadly after the election the off-topic posts my slow down, but I can bet they won't stop.
