Actually Brice, the bar should be the same for all that are in "public"
service.
They choose that for a reason and that reason should not be to cheat on
those who pay the costs for these public service.
However the members in the UN are send there from the government of their
(corrupt) country. So why should or could their bar be higher then in the
member-countries? that's impossible.
Seems like nowadays most politicians are corrupt in some way in every
country. Even the priests and church-members start falling in the same
category.
Therefore, there is just no way, that the UN could be any different.
Before we start cleaning or point at everybody else, we should make sure,
that our own house is clean of what we don't like somewhere else.
Now, I am sure we (yes, even the both of us) can agree, that neither of our
native country governments keeps a clean house either.
