I respectfully disagree. Until this year Peter Blackmore was the
EVP of ESG. A new group was formed by combining ESG and the services
unit lead by Anne Livermore with Anne Livermore getting the nod to
lead the new group (TSG). When PB's new job was announced I was
wondering how long he would be at HP as reading between the lines
this reorg was due in part to ESG not delivering. I bet PB was on
a short leash and was already being 'moved out'.

Remember folks... Anne Livermore competed for the CEO job and lost
but she is still at HP. Rarely does this happen. Nothing but good
can come from PB and other CPQ cronies getting the boot with AL
getting to shape how TSG is organized and run.

I don't know PB's ability to run an organization, but I have no doubt
AL has the skills to get the job done.
