It doesn't work!
If you try a command like:
ftp> get "afile name with spaces in it.txt" "newname"
200 PORT Command successful.
550 /d:/"afile: No such file or directory.
Data Transfer Request Failed. (FTPERR 13)
ftp>
The command fails!

FYI: The 3000 POSIX does not support Blank File Names... but this
enhancement allows you
to get and put files from the MPE FTP Client on/to non-3000 systems as
long as you don't try
to create a file on MPE with a blank file name.
