Just so everybody knows, there are 4 different interfaces for the 293x type
printers:

RS-232 regular serial
RS-232 & RS-422 combo (1 connector)
HPIB
parallel with the weird connector

I suspect that the pinout is documented for the weird parallel connector in
the owner's manual but I may be wrong on that.

Open offer to Terry and anyone else with the weird parallel connector:
We will trade you a regular 293x RS-232 interface board for any 293x weird
parallel board that you want to send us. Offer good for up to a total of 10
parallel boards. If anyone wants to convert their HPIB printers, we would
charge a little fee ($25?) for the RS-232 board.

Any other 293x parts needed by anybody? Also, SAVE your bad printheads for
these printers. Bad printheads can be rebuilt. Thrown away printheads
cannot.
