Ah, history....

I had the opportunity to work on unix before MPE. Back in college
at Cal Poly we had a pdp 11/35 running unix. It had a couple
of graphics tubes connected to it and a standard terminal.
Did some c work on this box. IIRC the system would hang/crash
with too many users (~4).

But then, Rick Gilligan might remember more clearly the
specifics of this system. Although we had much more fun
and spent more time with rsts/e and macro-11 on our 11/70.
