Time to buy MPEX from Vesoft, a system manager's best friend.

%LISTF @[log in to unmask]@(DEV=1),2
or
ALTFILE @[log in to unmask]@(DEV=1);DEV=2 (move files, that have at least one
                             extent on dev 1)

Seriously, if you can possibly get it, you really, really
should have MPEX. It is difficult to imagine managing
a system without it.

Subject: [HP3000-L] Finding files on LDEV 1

I'm running into a serious performance issue with user files on LDEV 1. I
believe that the system will run much more efficiently if I can move these
user files off of LDEV 1.

Is there any utility I can use to determine which files occupy LDEV 1? The
:LISTF command only shows where the file label is which may be miles away
from where the file itself is. Many thanks for your help!!
