Campus Community-
Thank you so much for your feedback and engagement around the mission, vision and values survey. We wanted to provide you with some updates and visibility on that survey and some additional information about what to expect as next steps:

  * Subcommittees- Subcommittees have been identified. Please see the subcommittees participants by logging onto the Strategy 2030<https://www.utc.edu/chancellor/strategies-and-initiatives/strategic-plan-2030> webpage. Thank you to the many faculty, staff and students that have agreed to support this effort. The committees’ work will be fairly intense over the next month as they work to get some initial draft thoughts to paper. Many of you should expect to be engaged formally and/or informally by these groups as they do this important work.
  * Survey Themes- An overview of survey response themes can also be found on the Strategy 2030<https://www.utc.edu/chancellor/strategies-and-initiatives/strategic-plan-2030> webpage. I appreciate OPEIR and its usage of AI to help generate themes from this qualitative information.
  * The steering committee has two more meetings before the end of the academic calendar. They meet on April 11th to have more discussion around campus feedback on mission, vision and values. They also meet on May 2nd to discuss first drafts of subcommittee goals. We will communicate and desire feedback from you (on numerous occasions) as we return in the Fall of 2024.
Please always reach out with any questions as we continue to work through this process.
Respectfully,
Bryan
