Also, for anyone even thinking of attending HP World '99 in San Francisco,
the greatest musical comedy/satire I've ever seen -  "Beach Blanket
Babylon" -- will probably still be enjoying its seemingly never-ending run.
I highly recommend an evening beginning at the Stinking Rose restaurant
(you'd better love garlic!) followed by BBB.  Both are in the North Beach
district within walking distance of each other.  Make your reservations for
BBB as far in advance as you can 'cuz it'll be sold out every night.

Although I won't be there, I think "Miss Saigon" is playing in San Diego
during this period.  Might be something to check for your after hours
entertainment.
