Thus it was written in the epistle of Stan Sieler,

:-). Reminds me of the rancher who found himself seated next to a statistician
on an airplane. After talking for a while, they got around to occupations and
the statistician allowed as how he was fairly good at counting things.
"Really?" said the rancher, "well, we're flying over my ranch pretty soon. My
boys have just got done doing a count of the stock, why don't you see how close
you can get?" As they flew over, the statistician looked down for a bit, then
thought for a moment and said "7,613." Impressed, the rancher asked how he
did it so quickly. "Simple," said the statistician, "I count the horns and
divide by two."

          ==========================================================
A human being is a part of the whole, called by us "Universe," a part
limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings
as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his
consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to
our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our
task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of
compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its
beauty. Nobody is able to achieve this completely, but the striving for such
achievement is in itself a part of the liberation and a foundation for inner
security.
