I am having difficulty using the autoboot functionality present in 7.5.
I have set the AUTOBOOT flag to ON using ISL.That works fine.
I have created a file called AUTOBOOT.MPEXL.SYS. It contains the single line
"START NORECOVERY" followed by a LF.
Using SYSGEN, I executed
AA AUTOBOOT.MPEXL.SYS DISC
which, if I understand the documentation correctly, should have told the
system that, when booting from disc, use AUTOBOOT.MPEXL.SYS as the
autoexecute file when booting from a disc device.
However, when actually booting, ISL complains that it cannot find a valid
auto-execute file. Using LSAUTOFL also says it cannot find an auto-execute
file.
So what am I missing here?
