I have it working behind an authenticating proxy
but then it took the existing settings from my IE setup.

On further investigation, it has some other good features:

It has a resource browser that allows you to select individual parts of 
your page code and it shows the scope. Also, there is a Javascript debugger 
that shows you where incompatibilities occur. My problem is that it changes 
some of the code dynamically to adjust it to what it thinks is right and 
manages to break the rest of the code. :o(

Still experimenting.
