Ben nailed it right on the head, it is frustrating! That is why I am looking
for other options.

FAX/3000 is a good solution and works well. I'm not complaining about that. I
mentioned the product because I didn't want to see 30-40 e-mail replies saying:
"Use FAX/3000 from STR". As it was, I got several anyway!

I also didn't want to see other products that forced you to use: T1000, 2001,
20001L, and XXXXX servers that would become an anchor in a few years. That is
why I mentioned the fact that I was getting tired of buying servers.

Someone else mentioned that buying a PC every couple of years wasn't so bad;
that would be true, but these aren't just PCs. They are complete servers,
packaged with their components. (I can understand why, but it isn't like just
buying a PC from Computer Shopper, or from our Corporate Agreement with XXX
vendor)

My favorite solution would be a host based fax product, and I thought that I
heard about one about a year ago, but it seems that there is no such product.

I am sorry if my initial post came across as a <RANT>, but Ben is right, I am
frustrated. Hmmm, maybe this would be a good reason to get one of the 918
development boxes.   Yea, thats it.....
