You can also find a lot of information at http://www.redhat.com - I just
had my first positive experience installing Redhat 7.0(Guiness) on one of
my personal computers at home. Now I am fiddling with Samba configurations
on my home network, configuring my cd burner and ... scrunching mp3's. I
find it to be a feature rich OS. It is not crash proof though (is
anything ?)
http://www.techtv.com has a Linux section that is very "newbie" oriented --
check it out.
