Hey Donna,

I checked the 5.5 System Software Maint. Man and
after you do the UPDATE, I don't see where it says
you must be on the system console.  While there may
be a reason, I agree with you that I can't think of any.

Except! for the fact that some the patches may affect NETWORK
services and do require that all network services not be active
during Phase II of Patch\iX. Which means that you can not access
the HP from a PC.  Now, if you have terminals connected via a DTC
then maybe you could do Patch\iX PhaseII from a dumb terminal.

Just a few thoughts on the issue.
