The last time I investigated this, and it was a long time ago, FP comes in two
pieces -- Apache DSO module source code which could be compiled on MPE, plus
various assorted binary programs that the DSO needs to call.

Those binaries are the problem. They do not exist for MPE. The company who
maintains those binaries for Microsoft is www.rtr.com. I asked RTR about MPE,
and they said Microsoft would have to approve, $$$$ would have to be paid, etc.

This was all a long time ago. Feel free to ask RTR about MPE again.

You are basically telling me that the porting effort was quite impossible...

Here's what rtr says:

"If you are seeking support for an unsupported platform or server we are willing to provide you with that support at our current FrontPage consulting rates ($245.00 per hour with a 1 hour minimum)."

I don't begin to claim to know how I would get that approved for next year's budget.
