Sales of it's servers are what's dragging down the stock and there were references in MIGRATION that were noted on CNBC.
To Which I have copied this information from the ecometry list from an HP user who "successfully"
Migrated, or so Ecometry had claimed.
==================================
While Mr. xxxxxxx indicated that company name here has successfully
migrated, "successful" is not the word we're using around here. We are
still encountering major issues (33 at last count) left over from our June
18th migration. Most of these issues have been open for over a month. All
of our departments are being effected. Is any one else who has migrated run
into any of these issues:
1. Web search string is returning inconsistent results-some of our
searches yield no results; others start with 27 then drop to 18 as you page
through the results.
2. Web reset takes hours to complete. We cannot effectively run
webreset-which skews web results even more do to the fact that all styles
show up on the results.
3. P&H Audit is not returning summary results. We have to search 400
pages worth of data to get the summary totals.
4 Giftwrap not associating with item to be wrapped-which makes it
impossible for the warehouse to know which items to wrap.
5. Vendor Order email notifications not being transmitted to Kickmail.
Our drop ship manager has to email every vendor to verify that they have
received their orders.
6. Item quantity on collates being overwritten by "000000". Our night
supervisor has to write the quantities so the warehouse can process the
collates.
7. Kits are not printing correctly. The header comes after the items,
again causing problems for the warehouse staff.
8. Warehouse backorders are not being processed correctly.
9. Counter processing won't stay streamed. We're unable to zero ship
counter orders.

===================================
I has nothing to do with the servers itself, just the quality of software or writers for the HP-UX systems.
So why would anyone want to migrate on asks.

Have there been "ANY" migrations that have made successful claims for any of the major applications
from the HP3000, I.e. AMISYS, MANMAN, Ecometry,...

please chime in
