Be careful! HPLASTSPID will show "only" the $STDLIST's spoolid but not any
spoolid created within the job.
See Help HPLASTSPID
HPLASTSPID  A global variable used by the CI that shows the
            spoolfile ID for the job identified in the HPLASTJOB
            variable; initial value is spoolfile ID of last job.
            Type= R S

and HELP HPSPOOLID
HPSPOOLID   A global variable used by the CI that shows the
            spoolfile ID of the current job, which is the file
            name found in the OUT group of the HPSPOOL account;
            initial value is the job spoolfile ID.  Type= R S

Why not add the command showvar just before eoj.  This should tell you
if a variable has been set by a program or other process.  If that
doesn't work you could add !showvar [log in to unmask]
Be advised this is a long list of variables.
