Here's my take on next week.

Since it appears that less than 2/3's of the American people bother to
vote, and I believe that the
person who wins is going to win with less than 50% of the votes - this
means that the winner;
regardless of who that is; is going to have the support of 30% or less of
the American people.

Then 70% of the people are going to be saying that "I didn't vote for THAT
person".
Yes, I know, I just said that half of those people didn't even vote in the
first place. But that
won't stop them from complaining! As you can see from the rhetoric from
both sides - facts
don't mean anything in an election!

My other personal prediction is that Iraq is going to be a mess. All the
woulda, coulda, shoulda
by Kerry won't fix that problem. I don't think either side can fix
that. I'm on the side of we
shouldn't have been there in the first place, but now we are, and we have
to stay and get it
done.

Regardless of who wins; come next election, both sides are going to be
saying "See I told you
so, your candidate was wrong about Iraq".

Also regardless of who wins, my personal economy has gone to H-E double
toothpicks.
Neither candidate can fix that. I'm sure that it is arguable whether Bush
caused that problem,
but *Please, *Please - bring back Y2K!!

What I don't have a prediction for; are we going to know who the next
President will be, next
Tuesday or not? I never would predicted last election's debacle. And if
we go weeks and weeks
before knowing the winner - things are going to get ugly around here and in
the nation!
Again, regardless of who wins.

I'm Paul Christensen, and I approve this message!
