Hi HP3000-L,

I just wanted to give everybody a heads up that the next release of perl
(5.6.0) has attained Release Candidate status.  I'm currently building this
developer-only release as I type this message.

If you've been thinking about trying Perl/iX, you might want to wait just a
little bit longer for the new version to become available.  I'll post again
once that happens.
