Definitely get "The Camel": _Programming_Perl_ by Wall, Christiansen and
Orwant, published by O'Reilly.  If you want something a little more basic, and
you may, I've heard good things about "The Llama": _Learning_Perl_ by
Schwartz and Phoenix, also published by O'Reilly.  If you ever spend much time
in Perl, though, the camel is what you'll find yourself coming back to over
and over.
