I'd LIKE to use native MPE SNMP to trap MIB events and send them off
somewhere for digestion based on certain MIB values and/or combinations
of MIB values. Am I correct in believing that the only way to -- again,
natively -- do this is to have some background job running which
actively does SNMPGETs, reviews the obtained MIB values, then does a
SNMPTRAP based upon what it sees? (I don't know of any provided
programs like a sort of "SNMP Threshold Manager" that automagically push
traps somewhere based on a modifiable threshold value -- but boy howdy
-- that'd be nice!)

Can anyone sending off trapped MPE MIB values make any suggestions as
to what works for them?
If <sigh> Something Must Be Purchased, then so be it...

Thanks!
Curtis
