Since installing some memory in our 969, we've noticed a boot-up message
saying:

"WARNING:  Both STANDARD and EDO DRAMS are installed on this system."

Is this a Bad Thing, or just an Annoying Thing?
To fix, or not to fix -- that is the question.
(Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of
outrageous memory...)
