For those in the US. The BT 5861 is a rebadged Essential Networks EN 5861
flashed with BTs' firmware. I don't know what SOCKERR 40 is but I'm guessing
that it's unable to open the outbound SMTP connection. We have two of these
devices at different locations and are able to do outbound SMTP although we
haven't tried it from the HP3000.

Did the IP address of the router change when it was replaced? If so you will
have to change the default gateway address in NMMGR to point to the new IP
address.
