Wirt posts, then hangs on for dear life:

>From Bloomberg News today:

>Report: Apples Falling Out of Favor at Schools
>More Schools, Colleges Switching to Computers That Run Windows
>
>CUPERTINO, Calif. (Oct. 17) -- Many schools and universities
>are phasing out Apple Computer Inc.'s Macintosh personal
>computers for ones based on the Windows operating system,
>the Wall Street Journal reported.

Given our market (k-12), we have direct input on this topic
and can say that this trend has been popular for a number
of years now. A growing number of educators are discovering
that when their students graduate they will be entering
a workplace that is mostly Windows and therefore it makes
sense they train the students accordingly.
