Poor Dave Snow? I don't think so (and yes, I do see the ";-)"). He was just
about the first to bail from CSY after the official announcement. He was
also the one at HPWorld 2001 who, when asked about the porting project of
MPE to Itanium, responded something like "we do not see our customers
needing or being ready for Itanium until the mid to latter part of the
decade", knowing all the while that the porting project had been halted and
the decision had been made to kill the HP3000.
