It seems that every Y2K consultant is telling their clients to "get a
written statement of Year 2000 compliance or readiness." In the last few
months, I've responded to three questionnaires from the bank that provides
a revolving line of credit and an informal questionnaire from the Missouri
PUC.
Since my "we're compliant" answer to the PUC questionnaire was apparently
insufficient, I am now in the process of answering a formal hearing notice.
The kicker is that one of our *tenants* sent a questionnaire asking if our
computer systems would correct bill the lease and CAM costs in January,
2000. So, Bruce, I suggest you prepare a questionnaire for your landlord
inquiring about the Y2K readiness of his computer system (the one that
bills you).
