Re: Automating TELNET

The 3k Telnet does not support input/output redirection and in fact it does not work as per documentation in TELNTDOC.arpa.sys.

Some folks have found success automating Telnet with a script external of the 3000 like WRQ Reflection script... Also I have heard of success automating Telnet with Perl.

Another solution for communicating to a remote host is remsh.
