hi all!

certainly there's some completely obvious subtlety that i'm
missing :-)

why does the 2nd part of patch/ix *have* to be done on the
console??  imo, it's a pain in the
umm...ahhh...well...anyhow especially if the patch being
applied doesn't require a cslt.  <hrump>         - d 'off to
explain to the operators *why* i have to log onto the
console'
