Ouch is right......for this case at hand I think we will try to go to page
mode in Reflections and see what happens.

Nope, PuTTY won't do any HP term types.  HP terms are predictable in
3000 environments, less so in 9000 environments, and almost unheard of
elsewhere.

You could perhaps look at porting (ouch!) your application to use
curses.  That's supported on a very wide variety of platforms.
