There is a very good IMAGE clone called HP Eloquence www.hp-eloquence.com.
It is, interestingly enough, owned by HP Germany.  In addition to that we
have turboIMAGE emulation libraries that work in conjunction with either
Informix or Oracle today and soon Microsoft SQL/Server www.xformix.com.
