I will BET BIG that the people that did review the press release came from
Compaq.
Hey HP Why don't you just invent a new name and call the company Comebacq,
however you must reinstate the HP3000 for a few more years before I comeback
;-).

To All,

As Interex is celebating it's 30th anniversary as an organization, we must
also
remember that HP is turning 65 this year. I guess that old age is
effecting the
corporate maketing department with statements like "first conference to
deliver
qualified, consistent education and training opportunities across HP's
broad base of customers, partners and employees."

Did any member of HP's management review the press release before it went
out?
What are the speakers from all the past Interex/HPWorld Conferences? Were
they un-qualified,
has their message been in-consistent, have they not provided customer
documentation as
to how the job is being done? Has the Interex/HPWorld conference format
failed to live
up to the motto 'Shared knowledge/shared power? Only we the Interex
members and customers
of HP can answer those questions for our organizations, NOT HP! Seems to
me that Interex
has been doing the training conferences on a national, international and
regional basis for
a helluva long time.

My $.04, for inflation,
