I don't know all the specifics, but....

I think there's three different levels at which the session limit is or can
be configured:

        1.  Hardware limit...basically your user license limit configured by
factory or your CE.
        2.  SYSGEN limit, which does I believe does require a reboot.
        3.  LIMIT command, which cannot exceed 1 & 2 above.

I just had to change the SYSGEN limit yesterday and restarted the system
last night.

Aw, c'mon now. I've heard some HPRC stories (I've got one or two of my
own), but...HPRC said you can't change the session limit without a
reboot? I think there's more to this story...
