Yes, but you also have to look at the 2000 prices for HP e3000's. 989's
have nearly the same performance for far less, and that $1M+ guess for a
Superdome didn't include an MPEiX unlimited license... no idea what HP will
do there. And if you happen to use a Powerhouse application... need I say
anymore.
Speculating on the future of MPEiX on Superdome is entertaining, but just
that at the present time. I suspect they've got there hands full just
trying to get all the HP-UX features delivered on Superdome. We would be
more productive speculating on what features HP should include in MPEiX 6.5
Powerpatch x, y, z and MPEiX 7.0.
