Considering what you wrote, I guess you're using SQL*Net V1. All the notes I
mentioned in my previous post were valid for SQL*Net V2. I have not worked
with V1 and it is no longer supported on RDBMS 7.3.2.
If it is helpful, there is a way to colllect logical/physical I/O a Oracle
connection used during it's life. This may be done with Oracle Auditing
facility.
