Cory questioned: > Is it possible to exclude files from being listed by LISTFILE or > LISTF with ,2 output? John replied: > Yes, use the fileset form of listfile. > > Below is a listfile command which lists all files which DON'T begin > with the letters "C" and "N" (files "c@" and "n@" are excluded from > the listing). > > listfile ([a-b]@,[d-m]@,[o-z]@),2 I think a missing piece here is what version of MPE that Cory is running. Because, unfortunately John's solution will not work with MPE/iX 5.5. I believe that you will need to be on MPE/iX 6.0. The results under MPE 5.5 will likely yield the following results... BOI4C:listfile ([a-b]@,[d-m]@,[o-z]@),2 Non-existent MPE named file "[A-B]@.SACSRC.FACA".
