Leonard, Two ideas for you. DBUTIL's SHOW rootname USERS will show the current number of DBOPENs on a given database. Of course, you will have to add them up yourself as it doesn't show a total number. LISTF rootfile,8 should show the number of accessors of the root file as well. Doug.
