I don't know if it possible to link DBEs and TurboImage databases across multiple computer, but across different account I know it is! (because I did it) First, you have to connect to your DBE with DBA privilege and create a new user (user@account) which corresponds to the Image database creator. That user must also have DBA priviliege in the DBE. Then you have to define a maintenance word to the DBE. This can be done with SQLUTIL setdbemaint command. Then, log on as the image database creator. Within IMAGESQL, do the SET SQLDBE with the option MAINT= (or something like that). Set the TURBODB and then ATTACH. I tried a few things before I found out, so there might be an obsolete step here above. However, I remember that I haven't found a way to attach when logged on in the DBE account. Hope this helps Michel Gauthier Leonard Berkowitz wrote in message ... >I suppose that the answer is in the negative, but I want to be sure. > >We have an Allbase DBE that is attached to a TurboImage data base in the same >account.
