The first is to have the HP9000 treat the Jetdirect box as a remote system and use lpr to print to it using the "text" queue. The second choice is to down load the latest Jetadmin software from HP and use the dumbprinter/plotter configuration. This will turn off all the LaserJet PCL/Postscript stuff. You may need to make modifications to model script for the specifice printer involved. I used this to get a Printronix printer running on a JetDirect when all other options failed.
