John(^2 ?); We hit the exact same situation; the 'default route' on our 3000 was getting knocked down when a firewall rebooted nightly. A simple job stream streamed shortly after the reboot occurs (which does just as John said; runs nettool and does a gateup command) starts it right back up. -Chris (the nospam guy) Bartram
