Stop the presses. Mark Bixby actually mentioning this in an exchange on learning perl, where I mentioned that parsing the store listing might make a good first exercise to start working with perl. For the interested, FILE NULL=$NULL, then STORE something;*NULL, then SHOWVAR [log in to unmask] There are thirty such variables, and I cannot find them documented on the LaserROM, whereas the three STORE@ variables are. I have posted to ESC to learn more, but this goes a long way for me. > -----Original Message----- > From: Mark Bixby [SMTP:[log in to unmask]] > Sent: Wednesday, September 23, 1998 5:30 PM > To: Stigers, Greg [And] > Subject: Re: learning perl > > Stigers, Greg ~ AND writes: > > > > Holy smokes!
