Andreas Schmidt wrote <<But George wil become crazy if a lot of people would have asked for a private eMail for the graphics ...>> Well, he did solicit these requests. When it comes to e-mail at work, we have to take the e-mail clients we are given to use. At home, I use Eudora Pro and can configure it to my heart's content. Often, our own technical environment blinds us to what others may or not have. Just as a test, if you are accustomed to working on the HP3000 with SM + OP or AM + OP capability, switch to a logon with none of those and just try to figure out what things you can no longer perform. I guarantee that you will encounter many gottchas. It's the same with e-mail. We think that everyone else sees what we see. We think that everyone is right on the cutting edge with us. It ain't so. There are digest and nodigest recipients; mime and nomime; 16 bit and 32 bit clients; local policies and restrictions. In-line messages offer the widest degree of acceptability by a mailing list group like the HP3000-L. ==================== Leonard S.
