One way would be to create a UDC using the OPTION LOGON, which would check
the system time (ie < 6:00am OR > 7:00am), ECHO an (optional :)) warning to
the user, and then issue BYE.
You might want to include the OPTION NOBREAK as well.

Another way, might be to have a job scheduled to put a password on the ACCT
at 6:00am. This same job would then schedule a second job at 7:00am which
would remove the password. If you want *no* logons in any account, instead
of issuing account specific passwords, I think you could increase and then
decrease the JOBFENCE. Only sessions which are allowed to specify HIPRI can
logon when the JOBFENCE is above 8. Not too sure on the specifics of the
second suggestion, so check HELP as well.

Subject: Setting time constraints to a login

Does anyone know of a way to setup a time constraint to a particular login
or group of logins on the HP.

An example would be:
How could I set up JOE.ACCT to be prohibited from logging in during the
time of 6:00am- 7:00am?

Is there a way to do this as the person logs in?

Thanks,

Michael
