I've been banging away real hard at the 957 that I do my GNU and JAVA development on for long periods of time without rebooting, and I virtually live in the POSIX environment. In recent times, the only reasons I needed to reboot were the results of bugs in my GDB development effort that resulted in system aborts. But, that is privileged code and is to be expected until the bugs get worked out. Why do you need to reboot? Regards, M.
