Hi Alain, No prob hooking up third party printers ... just pick a printer def in NMMGR that doesn't do bi-directional communcations or status checking :) Pins 2, 3 & 7 if I remember right are what you have to wire.... But don't worry somebody will correct me if I remember wrongly :) Art Bahrs +-------------------------------------------+------------------------------+ | Oregon Health Sciences Foundation |The views here are no one's, | | Art Bahrs, Manager of Information Services| least of all, mine! | | President, HP Oregon Regional Users Group (ORERUG) | +-------------------------------------------+------------------------------+ | And the men who hold high places must be the ones to start. | +--------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | [log in to unmask] 'The Professor' Work: (503) 220-8333 Fax: (503) 228-9588 | +--------------------------------------------------------------------------+ >>> Satellite_&_Cie._Ltee. <[log in to unmask]> 01/27/97 07:14pm >>> I am an HP3000 user and have been currently working with only HP = printers.
