Guys, I like the short-cut a lot (maybe). Can I simply do a restore if the disc drives that are becoming the volume set are part of the existing system volume set? I thought I would have to do a reload? BTW, I plan on doing two back-ups. But you can short-cut this considerably: :store @[log in to unmask];*t;purge :restore *t;@[log in to unmask];volset=new_volume_set;create Jeff Kell <[log in to unmask]> ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------- From: Nizzardini Al Date: Wed, Jan 8, 1997 7:51 AM Subject: RE: Private Volumes To: Backuj; HP-3000 Systems Discussion I would do two stores. Purge the accounts that will be going to the private volumes before doing the buldjob1 and use olddate on the restore. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- -----------------------------------
