We would have a similar need if we could ever get to rolling out ODBC
access. I wish we could help, but what with concerns about the 3000's
future, the growth of academic computing's needs, and growing interest
in purchased administrative software, I can't say we would ever really
be in a position to use ODBC. There is also Webifying administrative
applications to consider, but we haven't time for that either. Any role
for ODBC in academic computing (maybe backend database for on-line
tests) that might help?
